Guest Appearance: Investigating the Regina German Club with Kerri (S1EP31)

Tonight, I’m thrilled to have a special guest on the show, Kerri Van Loosen, the manager and president of the Regina German Club.

I reached out to Kerri after attending a holiday party with the Saskatchewan Writers Guild at the Regina German Club. During the event, I heard numerous spine-tingling and goose-bumping stories about paranormal experiences in the building. Naturally, I had to invite Kerri to share these intriguing tales with us.

Get ready for an exciting episode filled with chilling stories and fascinating insights into the paranormal activities at the Regina German Club.

Canadian Monsters & Legends: The Shrieks of the Dungarvon Whooper (S1EP30)

In this episode,  we are travelling to New Brunswick, which is in eastern Canada, for listeners who don’t know. There is a river there, called the Dungarvon River, which has an interesting legend or ghost story at least that I hadn’t heard of before.

The Dungarvon River is located in central New Brunswick. It is connected to many lakes in the Miramichi Highlands, which is also part of the Appalachian Mountains, which is an interesting little fact. Apparently, it isn’t easy to access the Dungarvon River, as there are limited roads to the area, because it has such thick forests. However, some people have been known to fish along the water, as Atlantic salmon is known to pass through the river.

The Dungarvon Whooper (‘hooper’) is a ghost story about a tragic incident in the middle of a lumberjack camp in the 19th century. First, let’s dive into the story shared since the late 19th century. This is a question I sometimes receive in my inbox from those who want to start paranormal investigations, so let’s talk about it! I will also create a download based on the information I’ve collected, sort of a paranormal investigation guide, that you can download on my website if you’re interested.

Historical Paranormal Cases: The Ambrose Small Disappearance (S1EP25)

In this episode, we are going back into the history of the paranormal industry, but this time we are going to approach it a little differently. I have been researching into a Canadian case that had left everyone baffled, as no body or sign of survival was left behind, leading to the use of mediums and paranormal equipment to try and solve the case. Picture the bustling city of Toronto in the year of 1919, but beneath the surface, an unsettling mystery shocked the community, but the case went cold. Tonight, let’s explore the clues behind the disappearance of Ambrose Small.
