In this season premiere of ParaGhoul Paranormal, we’re kicking off with a deep dive into one of Regina’s most iconic and eeriest landmarks: the old GMC Plant.

Once a booming automotive hub and later a wartime munitions factory, this building has lived many lives… and we could say, it still holds onto them.

From its roaring 1928 opening to its mysterious 2017 fire, we explore the plant’s rise, fall, and the ghost stories that have emerged from its long, shadowy history, including tales from the old CJTR radio station that once called it home.

Was it just the creaks of an old building… or something more?

Season 1 Finale and Wrap Up (S1EP40)

Tonight marks an amazing milestone – we are officially on the last episode of season 1 of ParaGhoul Paranormal. I can’t believe that we are already on our 40th episode together – we’ve had 14 amazing guest episodes, some of which were two-part episodes because we had too many good stories to stop on time. We also covered 8 urban legends or monsters from Canada’s history, 8 episodes about the history of the paranormal industry, including the evolution of ghost gadgets, and 9 local Saskatchewan haunted histories and experiences.

What will be coming in season 2, you may ask? That’s what we are talking about tonight, so let’s get started.

Canadian Legends & Monsters: The Great Amherst Mystery (S1EP39)

In this episode, we are returning to the Canadian Legends and Monsters theme before we wrap up season 1. Have you ever wondered about whether there have been incidents of poltergeist activity within Canada?

Although we might not have as many stories of intense poltergeist activity as the United States or even Europe, that doesn’t mean it never happens. So I found a story from the late 1800s that takes place in Nova Scotia, where a young woman was plagued with supposedly poltergeist activity or possible possession after a tragic event. So turn down the lights and come with me to 1878 in Amherst, Nova Scotia.

Canadian Paranormal Cases: The Ghosts of the Mill of Kintail (S1EP38)

In this episode, we are digging into the paranormal cases that have been gaining popularity in Ontario – The Mill of Kintail. So turn down the lights and curl into a blanket as we talk about the history and paranormal evidence collected from Almonte, Ontario.

Guest Appearance: Kenton de Jong from Regina Cemetery Tours (S1EP37)

Although the building no longer exists, the site remains a point of interest for paranormal enthusiasts. We’ll also discuss the ghost stories and paranormal experiences reported by those who visited or stayed at the sanatorium.

Join me as we uncover the secrets and stories behind the Fort San Sanitorium and ponder the question – what happens to the ghosts when the building is gone?

Guest Appearance: Shanon Sinn from Black Cat Books in BC (S1EP34)

Tonight, we have another special guest episode! I am joined by Shanon Sinn, author and publisher from Black Cat Books in Victoria, British Columbia.

I was lucky to meet Shanon through the Vancouver Chapter of the Horror Writers Association. There is no Saskatchewan or Prairies chapter … maybe I need to rectify that … so I’m grateful that they were willing to take me on as a member, even though our time zones don’t always line up well.

In this episode, Shanon shares insights into their journey as an author and publisher, the inspiration behind launching Black Cat Books, and the types of books they publish. We also delve into Shanon’s personal paranormal experiences, including the mysterious St. Louis Light.

In this episode, we’ll travel back to the late 1800s to a small community near London, Ontario, where the Donnelly family met a violent and untimely end. We’ll explore the events leading up to the massacre, the horrifying night it occurred, and the hauntings that are said to persist to this day.
