I’m excited to officially announce ParaGhoul Paranormal: Discoveries from the Dark! This radio show started on July 9, but the ParaGhoul Paranormal name has been used by me since 2022 (maybe even earlier).
What started out as an online community for western Canadian paranormal enthusiasts is now the name of my radio show and podcast. It’s where I get to share my research and ghost stories that I’ve been collecting while touring haunted locations across Saskatchewan. I’m hoping that it will expand across western Canada one day as well!
I’m also starting ParaGhoul Paranormal Files, which will be weekly articles based on the research, tours, and interviews that I do for the radio show. There are 4 main themes in both the show and the new Files:
- Local Saskatchewan Haunts: This series is a continuation from my Haunted Saskatchewan series, where I share the history and paranormal experiences from local Saskatchewan. I will continue to find new locations to research and new people with paranormal experiences to interview, so check out the new episodes to see where I’ve been!
- Canadian Legends & Monsters: This series will dig into urban legends and mysteries on Canadian soil (or water for that matter). I’ve always been fascinated by urban legends and mysteries, so I want to dig into the Canadian versions!
- History of the Paranormal: This series will cover our history with the paranormal – and more importantly, where our fascination started and how it’s evolved. I’ll be digging into specific details about the first ghost hunters, the rise of mediums and their tools, as well as the evolution of paranormal investigations into the entertainment we see today. I’ll also cover the different technological advancements in the field.
- Guest Appearances: Of course, it wouldn’t be a great radio show if you had to listen to my voice ALL THE TIME, so we will also have some special guests on the show. These guests will range from paranormal investigators, other podcast or YouTube hosts, dark fiction writers and authors, true crime enthusiasts, and I’m sure much more! If you’d like to be featured on the show, note that I am typically booked 3-4 months in advance and it must cover one of the above topics. Let me know if you are still interested by filling out and pitching your idea in the Contact Me form.
If you can’t listen to the live show, which is on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Saskatchewan on 91.3 CJTR (or TuneIn), don’t worry! ParaGhoul Paranormal is also on the major podcast platforms! Subscribe to your preferred platform so you don’t miss any future episodes:
