A little bit about me …
I am a R&D scientist by day, and an aspiring horror writer by night.
Born and raised in a town of less than 5,000 people on the northern side of central Saskatchewan, life has taken me many places. Before I became a mom, I studied at the University of Saskatchewan for both my B.Sc. in Soil Science and M.Sc. in Civil & Geological Engineering. Saskatchewan has not been my only home over the years, as I have moved and worked in Alberta, Australia, and Northern Ireland. My roots in Saskatchewan, however, drew me home when I felt the calling to become a mom.
Little did I know that my husband and I would become a busy family of 5 (plus two beagles) within a short 5 years. My days are kept busy with chasing after my three boys, all still under the age of ten, while also trying to work from home full time as a R&D scientist. Although COVID has been a terrible experience for the world, it forced me to face my inner thoughts and realize that something was missing. Writing.
Fast forward to 2021, where I try to find time to write among the chaos of raising boys, working full-time, and trying to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. I have a passion for creativity, the environment, and personal development. If only I could add 2 more hours to my day to fit it all in!
